Many may not know, but recently Ken has been having heart problems. He recently was given a diagnosis of heart arrhythmia- when your heart has an improper beat and beats either too fast or too slow. It’s also been discovered that there are nodules on his lungs. As of 6/20 we now know that the lower left ventricle of his heart isn’t closing, and he has some stenosis of the arteries in his neck and is being referred to a vascular surgeon. He has many appointments to continue to figure out what is going on.
Unfortunately, days after discovering his diagnosis and starting this serious health journey, his employer of 30+ years decided to let him go. In the state of Michigan, it takes 90 days before being able to file for short-term disability. As we all know, bills add up, and they add up quickly- especially when needing to see specialists. I am asking anyone who may know Ken to gather with us and help support him during this difficult medical journey. Funds raisded will go towards helping assist with expenses so that Ken can focus on working on himself (for once) and we can take as much stress off of his heart as we, together, can.
There will be a live band performing, lots of items available for raffle, as well as a 50/50 raffle, and a bake sale.
Spaghetti dinner plates will be $15 for an individual and $25 for a couple.
Both cash and card donations will be accepted as well.
